Compaq M2105 System Time

My system time seems to be moving at twice the rate that it should. I set the clock to 12pm and a half hour later it says it is 1pm, It does this both under linux and windows but in the bios time seems to be normal. I have no idea where to go to try and fix this any ideas?

I once had that problem, and after much investegating it turned out to be a game that we were playing. Especially in your case the symptoms point to a software app because as you stated the BIOS clock is OK..
