While I not trying to sound racist, but does Janet really have to sunbath nude? Maybe she's just a nudist? However, I think she's just doing this for the publicity because her career is taking a tumble and trying to create a public stir to get it back in the limelight. Although I think the whole Jackson family is a little strange.

That 'wardrobe malfunction' was the lamest (most lame?) publicity-stunt-but-not-a-publicity-stunt I've ever seen. If it was so unexpected, why was she wearing that strategically-placed bosom jewelery? (I admit it... I took a second look but it was purely for science.) I suppose it's possible she walks around with that stuff on all the time, but that brings us back to your oberservation of the Jackson's being weird, doesn't it.

Sex sells rjf - although I'm sure we all would've liked to think that CNN was above the rabble in that regard. I guess the only objective news outlet we have left is Fox News

I agree with apollo, why would you have a wardrobe with strategically placed removalable parts? I have a feeling that was planned. Oh and why did he go grabbing over there? I could see maybe if he tripped or something and swatted over there but really?

I think the real problem is peoples' fascination with celebrities. They're not really as cracked up as they are made out to be.

Well said catacon. We're so used to being fed information about celebrities' private lives that we sometimes forget that's exactly what they are - private. I feel justified in my rant against the superbowl wardrobe malfunction, but what she (or any other celebrity) does 'in private' should not be anyone's business but her own. I know how I'd feel if I was in a similar situation (not the nude sunbathing, though... that would just be nasty )

With her brothers carreer in the toilet she is probably pretty worried. I think most Hollywood carreers depend on publicity to keep them in the limelight and in the minds of people who hire them. It seems the problem is that most Hollywood celebrities cannot discern the difference between positive publicity and negative publicity.

Its an oxymoron to be considered a celebrity and to have no press coverage. She is just trying to get back in the limelight. Personally, I have no attraction to her whatsoever.

The link does say that it was an unwanted paparazi video and not anything that Janet might have intentionally or "accidentally" leaked to attempt to get publicity. I don't believe what she did was to try to get publicity.

Are you trying to suggest that because her skin is naturally dark that she does not need to tan? I have no idea if people with an ethnicity similar to hers or haveing dark skin would need to tan or not. If your skin tone is naturally dark, I don't think it would make much sense to tan.

I hope that last paragraph doesn't sound racsist.

But I see it's gone more in this direction:

I'll agree with you Statica, I mis interpreted the original posters question. I don't want to start any sort of racial arguments, I do think my question is valid to an extent. If the moderators feel that it should be edited and removed I would have no objection to that.
