Learning Photshop, SAS, SPSS
Hey everyone,
FOr the last month or so I have been on the job hunt in the new york city area. I graduated in May with a Marketing Degree and minor in Music History with good grades from the UNiv. of SCranton. Basically, the entry level jobs out there I have come across are HORRIBLE!!! I mean, i realize I am entry level as a recent college grad but gimme a break i don't want a job doing clerical data entry (no offense to all the data entry people out there!). i just want a job in marketing/research. My question is, I want to get some more knowledge using programs that companies use to spruce up my resume. I am generally a pretty computer savvy person but I was wondering if anyone knows any good sites that I could do some online tutorials and stuff like that. I would like to get better at photoshop, learn the basics of SAS systems, and develop more expertise with statistical programs like SPSS. Does anyone have any suggestions? Websites? Should I look into specialty classes at a local college? Any other advice is more than welcome, since I don't have a job I may as well use my time to advance my knowledge. Thanks everyone take care Steve |
