Battlefield2 and an mp3 player or ipod, and a great supper with turky

but i dont know about the ipod, many says that everytime you recharge the battery of the ipod the battery losses its energy, so for ex: first time lasts 1week, second time last 3days and so on, if any of you have an ipod and tell me about this, it would be appreciated.

Call of Duty 2, XM portable radio (for MLB!), or a Newegg gift card so I can keep tinkering with my computer. =)

BF2, maybe an MP3 player, a bigger hard drive, and some time off. Like HAL, just some to sit at home and do nothing.

Peace, and at least some more tollerance over here in The Netherlands between certain ethnical groups. Maybe some more political effort from our sloppy government would help out.

A place in flight school is another wish. I'm hoping to get into Oxford, UK for an ATPL course. I'm working my way through all selection phases. Off course it's all in my hands and it's nothing I can wish for.

I wouldn't mind a little spending money, I really don't need anything for my PC, or my drums, or anything else I own, I would like to have my palm repaired, but it might cost less to buy a new one in 6 months. I would also like some CDs, but the bands I like don't distribute them here, so I guess I am out of luck there.

I'm telling my family to make donations to relief organizations (like for hurricane victims) instead of buying me presents. I don't want any more things; I want fewer. Besides, those people need things a whole lot more than I do.

More places run like the PCMech forums.

Facts stored & easily accessable. No BS or flim-flam. Polite answers & direction. Reference points to get the facts.

If World govenments, broadcast & printed "news", etc, would adopt this format the world would be a much better place.

Just an opinion from an old computer dummy. RevCLB

If you're referring to the TV series, I'm with you. I didn't start watching until the re-runs hit several moons ago and became a staunch fan. It toyed with my already conspiracy-minded ways and I loved the episodes. And besides, Mulder got Scully in the end which is proper. Next to All in the Family and Gunsmoke, that series ranks with my favorites.

X-files is one great show, I love it too. I think my dad is going to purchase it on DVD for himself, so I might get to appreciate it at his expense.

Oops .. it was a joke .. well in my mind at least, a feeble one. It's a sentiment that was echoed in the Matrix, which in it's finer moments did present some food for thought, like talking about a human propensity for the need to be imperfect, and to be faced with imperfections.. well it gets lost in the translation..

Ditto. I became a loyal fan the season Muldur got abducted (I got on the bandwagon kind of late). Watched it every Sunday night - it ranks up there with MASH.

I'm just wishing for all the end of the semester projects and term papers that I put off for this Thanksgiving break to be done with (everything is due Nov. 30th and Dec. 6th and I haven't started anything yet). With their completion I'll done with my first semester in college. Oh happy day .

I dont really know what I want for Christmas - I wanted that Dell 21" widescreen monitor, but the more I think about it, the more I realize I have absolutely no need for it. I'd rather be healthy and have a bit of change in my pocket than to get something extravagent that I could easily do without.

There is something which I would't feel bad about getting though, and that's free gas for my car - or at least gas under $2 - make it $1 or < and I'd be very happy indeed . The price was $1.70ish when I filled up my tank last (couple of weeks ago), but when I passed the gas station the other day it was $1.96 - it needs to stay at a constant low price for awhile and stop fluctuating. (I understand why it rises and falls, I'm just venting).

Happy holidays everyone and see y'all next January for another year of posting.

EDIT: I'd also like to lose about 15 lbs - I think I've gained the freshman 15 from those stupid dining halls on campus. All you can eat isn't meant to be taken literally

I also want 'Nothing Sacred' on DVD, if ABC can get up the nerve.

Hmmm... A Creative Zen Micro, Yamaha HTR-5860 receiver, and a Sanyo PLV-Z4 projector.

I'd be surprised if more than one of those actually became a reality.

Oh yeah, I also want F.E.A.R. and AOE III.
