Arrows on Shortcut Icons
When the type of file is a Shortcut a characteristic arrow appears on the icon so as you know is a shortcut icon at first sight;
some icons i have on Desktop are shortcuts but the arrow is not there. How can i configure My Desktop so as arrows show up on shortcut icons?

You sure those are actually shortcuts? I think shortcuts either have an arrow, or they don't at all.

the normal desktop icons that windows installs do not have the arrows, the ones you place there will.
most people do not like the arrows and use the program called power-toys to remove all arrows from the icons. I for one do not like the arrows and always remove them. |
