Hypermemory does the same thing...uses System RAM.

They will always take up the same amount of RAM, wheter you are using it or not.

AGP or PCI-E?

The X700 series runs for about $100, you might take a look at those.

I believe the question is, does your motherboard have an AGP or a PCI-E slot? You do not want legacy PCI unless your motherboard only has those, and if that's the case, you have a nongaming machine anyway.

ill take that suggestion and get me a x700..one question tho for gaming, should i look for a card with highest pipeline? is there an order of importance
like CORE clock, MEM (in the card)...etc? maybe some tips on what to look for and what to avoid?

FYI: I am reporting LIVE from my new RIG, my first and new RIG. AFter I get a video card better then this 1mb v-ram (LMAO..best resolution at 648 800) lol it will KICK butt.

here are the specs: AMd Sempron 64 2.1ghz, 512mb corsair, 1 wd maxtor 7200RPM Serial ATA 150, ABit mobo (3 x1 PCIE, 1 x16 PCIE, 3PCI, NO AGP) also XCLIO 450W. SOon to add, an X700, a CD-ROm and possibly another 512MB of ram

thanks PCMECH, i rock lol

P.S.
PCMECH rocks too hehehe

I'm guessing a X700 will be the best PCI-E gamer under $100.
