Blue, you can ship FedEx at Kinko's. FedEx bought them out and they are now called FedExKinko's.

well I was trying to get my parts on friday....They were at the terminal....but not sceduled to be delivered till monday....even though they deliver here I think 7 day a week...

Never heard of Kinko's? It's a copy shop - you bring things you need copied, and they simply take your wallet and savings and walk away...then the machines break. They do pretty good business.

I agree...
I liked Newegg more when they used Fedex express saver shipping...I remember when they offered free shipping or like $1.99 but now the price has skyrocketed and they have switched to UPS which is about 1/2 the price... I guess you could blame that on inflated gas pricing....It's just getting bad when you could buy a fan for your pc for $3.49 but it cost $4.59 to ship it to you....and this is on each one....You would think you could get a discount for buying multiple items and leeson the shipping charge per item.... But it doesn't work that way....I don't blame all of the shipping cost on the shippers...I think it's also a way of Newegg recouping some of the cost themselves.... |

Newegg? A monopoly? I don't think so.
A monopoly is having the ability to control the market. Since a) newegg has competition from who knows how many different websites and that b) newegg is the user choice for buying there... This tells me that no, it can't be a monopoly. In my area, FedEx and UPS are about the same. My packages from FedEx show up between 3-5 and UPS shows up between 5-7. Its the same thing as always. I order on Monday and get it Thursday or I order on Tuesday and get it Friday.

Well, they created a new order number and reordered everything after I talked to one of the reps. The new transaction was holding on Step 1 since last friday, but it went to Step 4 today. So hopefully they'll send it out today or tomorrow, if they even have the stuff back in stock.

What kind of shipping did you pay for again? If it's day 12 and they still haven't shipped it, they ought to reduce your shipping cost or something for making you wait so long.

I ordered Monday night (about 6:00pm or so) 2 Xclio 450watt BL PSU's....Withing 1 hour I had confirmation and a tracking number....so that part has atleast improved.....there have been times I haven't gotten confirmation and tracking for up to 3 days....and then shipping was from that point....they may have been busy then though....
I expect to see UPS here tommorro sometime... weird thing is...it takes twice as long to go from Louisville KY, to Indianapolis IN as it does to go all the way from California to louisvill KY.... Mind you now Louisville is on the Kentucky/Indiana line...only about 150 (+/-) from Indy.....? just strange... |

OK. The conclusion to this whole mess! They didn't give me the overnight like they said they would, so they refunded my shipping money and gave me $15 off the shipping cost of a future purchase. Soooo. Hopefully next time it will better. I work in retail and know better than anyone that stuff happens so I'll give them another chance. The package has left the warehouse so I guess I should finally be getting it Saturday or Monday.

I got my order as expected....
I recieved a UPS tracking number...been watching the tracking....Got a knock on the door at 1:00pm ish (workin from home this week) and open the the door and there is a Fedex package from Newegg....from a UPS truck...now thats funny... Used Newegg and UPS wasn't awful for me at all. All the way from california. I was tracking it.... it got to me in exactly 2 days from Cali and Tenesee. The best part is, from NJ, it only took 1 day. I reside in PA.
