Interesting the difference between passive and active protection. If active protective requires some sort of obtrusive software which people simply won't want on their computers etc, then I don't see any way of stopping piracy. I don't think it can be stopped because for every measure intended to stop piracy there will be someone who finds a way around the measure. It will always be a game that the pirates will eventually solve.

After reading that I find it mostly the same predictions but just change a little bit, so what I'm trying to say they're not really going out too much on a limb with these predictions. So they're going to be mostly right again this year too, and that too me isn't too much of a suprise - IMO
