Foldin' For PCMech!

jerome bettis, #36 for the steelers. He is a BIG guy at about 260lbs and is very quick for his size. Called the bus because he is so big and it takes a lot to stop him. I have seen him push 4 other guys at once! A very good player!

Speaking of the Bus, how many of you old timers remember the Diesel?
Hint - his quarterback is now a very obnoxious commentator for ESPN. |

Yup! They used to blast a diesel horn through the PA every time he made a carry. The QB's name rhymes with Heisman.

F.A.I.L.U.R.E. I don't know how he had the guts to go on Letterman's show and kick that field goal. Talk about a slap in the face to the Colts, that's like issuing your own pink slip... (I re-added the other part of my original post. Gosh Statica... )

This is pure *rumor* central, but some guy at work today said he heard that somebody got $25,000 for a pair of Superbowl tickets!? If they did, then great for them, but that sure is a lot of money just to see a game (even if it is a great one)... Heck, but then, I think the "regular" price of the tickets is too high

Aside from the athomosphere I prefer watching any sports game on TV, you get to see the whole action, your up close to the players and you get to see the replays over and over again without straining your neck or eyes.

Some pro teams have a 20+ year wait for regular season tickets - they had an entire segment about it on espn. Some waits are so long that parents will put their child's name on the waiting list when they're born so that the kids can use them when they're in their 50's. They also allow children to inherit their parents' place in line if they pass away. Now those are hardcore football fans. |
