How much is my computer worth

I have a dual core (2 mp 1900) Athlons
1gb Ram
160gb Hard drive
battery
Sound card
1 cd-rw dvd-rw player
another as an option
and a video card I am trying to find the model for
and it is all in a custom wooden case.

and the downside,
You need a system disk
An os
And floppy drive ( I would by if selling)

I am thinking about selling it but need to make sure it is worth the loss, I need at least 1200, which I could get scrapping the parts I think, plus I have a cpu lying around. My goal is to get $2400 fo the computer my cpu (I should get 200 or so) and a PS@ and maybe some spare ram I have lying around.

Anyway if anyone has a pretty good condition Powerbook lying. Thats what I am trying to buy. Or a Razr v.3 cell phone.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, this in't an add to sell it, I was just wondering what is was worth and that seemed pretty general.

Thanks

my guess would be about one half of what it cost you as it is now a used system.

Just by looking, since the Athlon MPs are kinda a dead architecture, and 1900 is not considered very fast these days, I really doubt you will get $2400.

I recently sold a GA-7VRXP, 256MB RAM and Athlon XP 1800+ for only $60 (though it was to a friend/relative at a discounted price).

If the custom wood case looks good, I think it might earn you the most $$$. Do you have any pictures of the case?

One can price a brand new system on Newegg that is far more advanced and will perform much better for $2,400. I'm sorry, but I can't see you getting anywhere near $2,400 for it.

This person is saying they need $2400 for their new expenses, not for the used machine, $1200 for the used machine is what they are needing.

I'd be surprised if he could get $600 for that computer.

I agree, it's not what it used to be and prices have dropped considerably since that time.

Would it be better to try and scrap it piece by piece. And the wood case is cool I'll post pictures I just have to get my digital camera back.
