To All You Cell Phone Users

I'm with Cingular. Let's say your at the end of your 2 year service agreement. If you want to discontinue service, do you still have to pay the $175 disconnect fee?

When your contract is up, you are done, you have completed your agreement. They have provided the service they have agreed upon, and you have paid for. The "disconnect fee" is the fee you pay when you breach the contract.

yup...and if you can afford it, buy your next phone outright (or re-use your current phone if you can), that way you are not locked into a 1 or 2 year contract...so much can change in a 2 year period that being locked in for that long may not be your best choice.
