Indeed. I think she looks better in Red Eye though. That's another good movie that's for fun.

I was told to check out "Wedding Crashers" because it would make me laugh from beginning to end. Didn't find this movie very funny at all, in fact I thought it was terrible. Had to watch "Young Frankenstein" to cheer me up after.

I heard the same thing from my friends. I watched it and also thought it was horrible. It started off good but then after that it just felt like they made the rest of the plot up the day they arrived on set. Yeah, it's pretty bad. And yes, Young Frankenstein is classic.

Just thinking about Igor(sp?) waiting for his cue with the french horn and then only playing a few notes brings a huge smile to my face.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) has some of the funniest episodes I have ever seen. I think Mitchel (sp?) and Pod People are my favorites.

I just rewatched Airplane, which is just hillarious.

just saw X-men 3, and to be honest, i think it was rushed, otherwise though lots of nice special effects. But i'm waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean 2 in July

X-Men 3 didnt have much of a story to it... It could of been better.

I recommend Taken and Band Of Brothers. I know they are some what old but really good.

I am looking forward to taking my son to see Cars.

The first Alien scared the heck out of me...after that the actors got "Hollywood" and did not behave as real people would. So the remaining Alien movies were not as frightening.

Band of Brothers (although it's really a series and not a movie) is one of the best War Dramas I've ever seen. I watched the series 4 times since I got it last summer.

I'm currently watching Der Untergang (Downfall) and I'm liking what I see so far (1st hour of a 3 hour movie).

And I just watched Daremo Shiranai (Nobody Knows) last week and really enjoyed it.

If you like that type of movie then rent Das Boot in the original German...not the version dubbed into English which is not nearly as intense. The english voice actors just don't do a very good job at showing the fear and other emotions. It may take some looking around for the German version.

on the topic of dubbed/subtitled films, when i was in china on a school trip with some friends, we saw SW:EpIII and some of the subtitles were hillarious, but Cricket if you think 209 mins is long, then if you ever wath Line Of Controll Kargill (a bollywood film about Kashmir) = 245 mins. Brilliant film though.

Just saw The Breakup, it was pretty good. Great acting from both lead roles.

Alot of people rag on the ending, because it's not typical of a chick flick... but this isn't really a chick flick. It's like a non-fairy tale version of a chick flick.

I just watched "Delicatessen" by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro...wow, that is one strange movie (but strange in a good way).

I just saw Posiden and thought was fairly good. It wasn't as bad as the reviews said it was. It was a little over done, but not too bad.

How does it compare with the original movie?

Yeah, it seems like that's all the big studios are doing nowadays. If you want to see something different you gotta look to the smaller independent studios...or foreign movies. I usually check out the movies that do well at Cannes and Sundance.
