problem using blockbuster online rental

hey guys, i wound up finding a nice deal for $9.99/month for first month. i click on the link and at the top right in big letters it says $9.99/month for first month. fill out all the info. at the right of the screen click 'try it now' and the next page shows your plan, price, benefits and it lists everything correctly, except the price is NOT $9.99/month but $17.99/month. any ideas if i go through with this it will revert back to the deal, or just stick with the $17.99/month? thanks.

Links are always nice: http://www.blockbuster.com/acctmgmt/...SubName.action

More than likely it'll work out ok. Now way for us to tell unless we signup too.

i don't really want to sign up when the price says $17.99. it's supposed to be $9.99. just insert your info. on the right (don't worry you're not finalizing anything) then on the next page the price is $17.99. supposed to be $9.99

I tried both netflix and blockbuster online at the same time and I can tell you from experience that netflix wins hands down. Blockbuster was awful!
What netflix views as your queue and order of movies to send you blockbuster thinks of as a suggestion.
I understand that they cant gaurantee your top movie all the time but I never got anything in my top 5. Once they even sent me disk 3 of a tv series before disk one(what good is that). Netflix only sends your number two pick if number one is legitimitly not available.
Just thought I'd let you know my experience.

I use Netflix and it is problem free except for the occasional scratched disk which is easily remedied by cleaning it. The turn around time for movies is unbelievably fast. I always get the movies that are on my que.

I pay 19.95 per month, but what is a couple more bucks per month for a subscription service that gets you the movies you want and extremely fast? I can watch a new move every night if I want to. You are allowed to have up to three movies at one time and the turn around time is less than three days. It is usually two days from the time you drop your movie in the mail untill you get a new movie. Where else can you rent a movie for less than a buck?...thats if you want to watch 20 movies or more per month.

It looks to me that Blockbuster is jerking people around with some sort of price game. I would not go with any company that baits people with one price and then only offers a higher price.. Sounds like a car dealer tactic.
