Kegger, fish fry, indoor motorcycle races, mud wrestling, and indoor fireworks displays.
Blame the house being a smoking hole in the ground on lightning, or an exploding laptop battery.

You could watch the LOTR Extended versions series. That will gulp up about 12 hrs, even more with intermission between movies.

Ribs, beer and movies with the guys.
Your chance for a Band of Brothers marathon (substitute movies series of your choice here). You can spend next week eating nothing but salad and being virtuous. |

I think I like pam's idea the best, the problem is I hate TV (it's bearable if I can edit out the brain numbing commercials) and I am not sure I can do the virtuous bit.

Personal Video Recorder... just like Tivo in the states... I select my favorite shows on the menu, it records them, even if they change dates or times. I just sit down and watch whatever... over glorified VCR really... much better though.

Well, essentially described as above... a really cool VCR... everything records to a hard drive instead of a tape... much more convenient than one too.

Hal,
you are on the right track in cleaning up the house: make it look too clean. that'll definitely raise some questions - - - answered by a completely innocent (and honest) look of "what do you mean dear? Nothing went on."

I've always wanted to flip a room upside down. Put the furniture on the ceiling and the lighting fixtures on the floor. That would be cool.
Doing that to the bathroom would be messy though. Or turn a room on it's side. Sounds a bit easier. Windows are a hassle if you do that though. |
