For the last week or so, Newegg has not been very usuable by me. Sometimes I can use it just fine; other times I'll get it, but then lock up a few minutes in; still other times I can even get to the home page. When that happens I have to delete all the cookies.
Observations while trying to resolve problem

I'm pretty sure Newegg is having server problems. I've noticed issues too. I wouldn't say it's unusable but it definitely doesn't come up every time for me.

Newegg has been hit or miss for a week or so now. As tfh has indicated, it's most likely a server issue on their end. Just gotta be patient and try back later.

Yeah, I've been having problems, too. A server issue, no doubt.

Definitely server problems, Newegg notified me of this when I was trying to make a big order.

I've been having problems too, but for longer than a week. Seems like a couple weeks now (it's gotten better, but I had problems earlier today).

I just noticed it the other day myself. I couldn't access anything deeper then the front page for about 24 hours, but as I was typing this I tried getting on the site and it seems to be fine again. Some kind of server issue. Has to be.

Yeah, somewhere there are some DNS issues. Couldn't get to the main page, but when I type in the IP address instead of www.newegg.com , it pops right up.

Interesting. That makes sense. I wonder if it's regional thing...?
EDIT: Maybe the Newegg Rep can give us some insight... |

That makes a good bit of sense actually. Would explain why the problems are a bit diffrent, and why they're moving around a little.

Thanks for all the repsonses. I'll simply be patient for them to fix whatever is wrong. It can't be too good for their business.

that is odd that so many have had problems, i've been on at least half dozen times in the last week and encountered no problems at all, must have hit at a good time.

Right now, I cannot get Newegg to load in Opera or FF - but it works fine in IE. I'm not a happy camper.

I haven't been able to get to newegg since Monday.
Neither IE or Firefox work and, since everything else is fine, I assume the problem is on their end. |

I am going to notify the newegg guy and see if he can find anything out about it. I personally haven't had problems, but they definately need to look into it if it is this bad. We'll see what they say.

For those of you that newegg is not working, can you get to the site directly via IP address?

I haven't had any problems until today. Neither the IP or the domain is working correctly in opera, but IE works ok.
