How to get PC Technician Experience

I will soon be finishing school to be a PC Tech. Then move on to take my A+ Certification.
But the problem is many jobs I'm searching for, state that 1-2 years experience is needed.
So what is a good way to gain PC experience.
I would apprieciate any help on the topic.

Do work for friends and family... ask a local store if you can volunteer for a bit to gain some experience.

Nothing for nothing, you can pass the A+ exam without paying the expensive cost of classes. What they charge for these classes IMHO are ridiculous, for the A+ exam is one of the easiest exam (I took and passed it). My suggestion is scrap the classes, use practice exams, and do it that way. Use the extra time to exhaustly search job hunting sites.

Now experience, you need to find whatever job you can, and learn, learn, and learn!!! The task is up to you. Everyday do job searches, and you will eventually find a job that will give you the opportunity to get a job. Odds are it won't fall in your lap, so just work hard, and you will find a job that will help you.

Doing your own PC and friends will give you practical experience, but won't give you the professional experience that businesses look for.
