US elections

During the run up to the US elections our news programmes here in the UK were running pieces about a female ex military who lost both her legs in Iraq and she was standing in the elections on an anti Iraq war ticket, Sorry can't remember which state but it was up near the US/Canadian border.
Our news has said nothing about her since the elections and I just want to know if she won or not, can anyone help please???

Tammy Duckworth of Ill (D) lost by 4%. Since political threads are not allowed here, I'll close this one now.
