Hacking from peeps at this site

I don't care what reason you think you have, you cannot justify your hacking into my computer and messing it up. There will be some serious complaints filed. Guarenteed!

Can't think of anyone here who'd be interested in your pc. Besides, if you're smart enough to know someone is hacking, and from whence they come, you're smart enough to know how to prevent it. You lose on both counts.

You hit new topic instead of new post. Could someone move this? or just continue the old thread.

What proof do you have? please elaborate, if someone is hacking your computer, giving more information here will help them be stopped.

There, that makes a bit more sense now. I agree though, what exactly is your accusation and your proof?

The proof...

Is in my firewall logs and includes an ActiveX attack. Occurred while on this BB.

Many of the regulars that come here run firewalls themselves and have never had an attack as you state. Your claim only implies an attack while on this site, not necessarily from this site. I would also like to note that some software firewalls (Black Ice Defender in particular) are very prone to crying wolf and "announce" attacks that aren't really attacks. Even items that popup in the ever popular ZoneAlarm are not necessarily attacks. You may even get notifications of legitimate scans, but it isn't necessarily a direct attack on yourself, but rather a scan on an entire block of PC's searching for on that isn't secure.

If you feel that this is a serious attack, I'd like to actually see the proof you have, as would our lawyer. Feel free to email me so that I can get your lawyer our information. mdockter@pcmech.com

I'd thought I'd heard it all...

Doesnt give a lot of credibility for an AOL ( ) user to claim the "peeps" on this site are hacking.

Anyways made my day.

Thanx for the laugh
