Angry Fire Argh Ebay!

well, maybe not Ebay, but a seller on Ebay. Almost three weeks ago now I bought a playstation 2 with a couple of games. As you can probably figure I haven't received it yet. The person I bought it from communicated with me sporadically (it took her three days to initially respond to my winning).
She finally sent the playstation 2 what will now be two weeks ago this coming Tuesday. Now normally, I wouldn't wonder too much that it could take up to two weeks or so for the USPS to send me the playstation 2, but what bothers me is that she hasn't responded to ANY of my questions. After I paid her I asked her if she had a tracking number/delivery confirmation or something of the sort. Then yesterday I asked her again if she could let me know of anything with which I could go to the post office with.
No response.
I am definitely giving her the benefit of a doubt and firmly believe that this isn't fraudulent in anyway, but the sad truth is I just at least want a bit of reassurance, at least a re-confirmation of her having sent it.
So my question is, what is the etiquette on this? I figured I'd wait till Tuesday night after which it will have been two weeks from when she says she sent it. After that I'll send her another message requesting info.
I don't know if I should start hinting towards going to Ebay just yet, because I don't want to seem alarmist, but I am really annoyed at how she is just obviously ignoring my questions.
Any advice?

No ideas other than to contact Ebay for suggestions. Sometimes they are helpful and other times it seems they could could not care less.

Personally, unless I can use my credit card to make an Ebay related purchase, I no longer do business with anyone on Ebay. Paypal does not necessarily protect you. I have had too many problems along with family members, friends, co-workers and business associates...they all have Ebay horror stories. I know this is after the fact for you Nin137....I just wanted to relate my experience with others.

Were there any pictures, besides the generic highly available online images, of the PS2 is question?

If you really want to make sure the seller is legit, ask them to take a picture of the PS2 next to a a specific string of characters you wish them to write out on a piece of paper. If they don't agree to that, then they are either not willing to sell, or not legit.

I hope everything works out ok, and if you don't receive the item, I hope you get compensated correctly. What was the seller's rating and how many comments had they had before?

Good Luck

No the photos were legit (well as far as I can tell) because there were those 4 distinct games. The seller has great ratings overall that is why I am strongly giving her the benefit of a doubt. I guess in the end this is just an issue of my being massively annoyed by her effectively not giving a damn about my questions. We'll see what happens.

When this is over, you can reflect your feelings in a feedback.

I wouldn't take any picture as proof that the seller is legit, it is too easy to manipulate a picture with Photoshop (or a similar program). I don't use ebay that much any more, but when I do I only deal with people who have good ratings and plenty of ratings, but even then I'm skeptical of them. Myself I wouldn't wait as long as you have, I would have been bugging the person after 5 days. You might want to see if she is doing any other auctions on Ebay still and if she has reposted the PS2. If she is doing other auctions then that is a red flag and if she has reposted the PS2 then that is a really really BIG RED FLAG. I would also leave a negative comment right now on her account warning other people to be careful of doing business with her, plus that might get her attention.
