People are going to disagree with others' opinions, but do not let it get personal or we will have to close this discussion.

How can one say that you can just go get help for a drug addiction? Sure, you can, but there is one major obsticle, you have to admit you have a problem first... if you don't think you have a problem, why on earth would you seek help for a problem that you don't have?

i'm looking for a way into the crystal meth market.
it's seems like it's going to be bigger than the dot-com bubble.
the crystal meth buyers are really motivated and loyal.

i just heard on cnn that it's only 475 million dollars, so you're right, it's not worth it.

She might not have been the most straight forward person in the world. But I think she listened to other people as what to do way to long.. She could have easily got help and became a better person.. The real sad story here is who is the father of her little girl, and who has the right to claim her as the father.. I see this whole thing as being about nothing but who gets to manage her money for her little girl, until she becomes of age.. As far as the news goes, well they more than likely have 3 hrs of news to tell.. But because the talk about the same story over and over again, the feel the need to stay on air 27/7... Think about it , they talked about the same story way to much.. I can see maybe 3 times unless something else happens that needs to be told, but this is just crazy.....

money is what allows you to put food on your table, pay the rent/mortgage, send your self/kids to school, visit nice places around the world...

more money = more time to do the things you love and to spend with the people you love.

i want lots of money so i can visit my family/friends whenever i want, be secure that there will always be food on the table and a place to live.
is that evil?

The original quote is actually the love of money is the root of all evil.

I.e., the inordinate desire for monetary gain, or greed, in that it crowds out all the other loves a man can experience. I would say it is akin to inordinate ambition, the drive to succeed that crowds out the moral impulse of maintaining right and wrong.

Sure it's sad when someone dies but what is truly pathetic is how the press gloms onto stories like this forcing everyone to have to listen to every minute detail 24/7 for the next few months. Personally, and this may sound harsh... I could not care less about the story. There are more interesting things happening in the world.

I agree, but when those other stories come to light, we will be saying the same thing about them.. so what differnece does it make.. The news media alwasy kill a good story, by repeating it 24/7.. That is how they justify having news coverage 24/7...

Exactly. The great thing of personalized google/yahoo etc. homepages is that YOU get choose what news you want to see. I just love this freedom, and just like you I rarely watch news on TV anymore. The Internet has become my primary source news. Magazines are a different story though, still.

I like to watch "local" news in the morning, and some times in the evening, for a little bit. Nice to see what's happening in the neighborhood and what the weather's going to be like.

Being a talk radio addict, I am going to have the story force fed on me every half hour for at least the next three months. I'm not looking forward to it. The OJ trial and the Rodney King beating/trial was more than enough.

Does the media have a half dozen of those massive satellite trucks with generator sets and flood lamps running 24/7 parked out in front of the victims mansion?

No celebrity in this country ever really dies in peace anymore do they? Additionally the true victims, the loved ones, have to go through the grieving process with cameras shoved in their faces.

Don't contribute to this circus by watching.
