spectrum analyzer update

this is a update on my latest project of building a spectrum analyzer.

I have all the modules finished and tested except one which is the 110 mhz bandpass filter.

but it is about half finished.
all the other modules work fine and shows a good signal any frequency I connect to it.
it even shows my transmitter signal when a small piece of wire is used as a antenna connected to the rf input.
I will take some pictures of all the modules and of the display when the bandpass filter is finished.

I do have one need and special request though.

what I need is about 5 or 6 of the small brass stand offs' used to mount a motherboard in a case. the 6-32 size.

if anyone is like me, and not toss any left over hardware supplied with a case you should have a bunch of them, and if someone could stick some in a plastic baggie and in a envelope to mail them to me, I will be happy to reimburse any expenses.

I could order some from mouser electronics, but would have to buy 100 of them.

thanks.

I have plenty, and would be more then happy to send em to ya...one question though. Do they have to be brass?

Nevermind, i found an assortment of both brass and aluminum. If ya want just PM me your address. You think regular mail would be OK? And it wont cost ya a dime bob.

Can you test my brain pattern with that thing??? Wait... probably best not too... don't want to break it.

If you need some standoffs and there is nobody closer to you, I can send you some.... I'm sure I still have a pile of them in the garage.

yes hal it could test your brain pattern as much as it emmits rf.

and thanks for the response this will solve that problem.

if everything gos ok it should be all finished in a few more weeks.
then to mount everything on the cabinet I have for it, then labels and knobs for the controls.

I think I will have a bit over $600 invested in this little experiment.
