i have problem with my floppy disk, i'm able to access my files, but i can read the disk size and properties of the floppy disk. Is there anyone who could give suggestion with my problem?
I have use the ontrack easy recovery but i didn't get a succesful result. thanks |

Do you mean to say you "can not" read the disk size and properties?

Assuming that the files can be accessed but the properties cannot be read ...
1- Copy the files onto another floppy and try again. 2- Try another floppy in that drive. 3- try that floppy in another drive Floppy problems are amongst the easiest to solve. If a floppy disk does not work, try another one. If the drive is questionable, try another one. In addition to that, as a last resort, I would try the floppy in the same drive that was used to write the files and even run scandisk ... although oftentimes, it boils down to the fact that floppies are the least reliable medium to store data and it becomes necessary to choose other ways to store files in addition to using floppy disks.
