Cool Concept Car

A friend sent me some some shots of this sweet ride in an email. I Googled it and found these:

I wonder if it's one of lil Jimmie's creations?

Too bad it's not a production car, but then I couldn't afford one anyway

Not sure I'd drive it if you gave it to me. Paying $135.000.00 would really be out of the question.

Nice lines on that car, but it's not my work. I would like to see what we don't see in the picks, ya know what's under the hood and paint. Does the quality of craftsmanship match up to the paint job?

Most of the one I've done go around $200,000.00 and up.

Says it's based on the '05-'07 Corvette C6 chassis - wonder if it's a LS2 or LS7 engine under the hood?

I don't think they would sell enough to justify putting it into production. Not at that price. Besides people who buy a car like that want a truly unique car which means they don't want to see other cars like it on the road.

Personally, I think it looks like a mutt meaning it has styling cues from a number of different cars. I would not own one even if it were reasonably priced say around 40K. For the price, I would want a restored original from that vintage. Classic cars from the Fifties are the coolest looking cars but this one misses the point of actually owing an original. I think they are thinking their market will be classic car owners...wrong. After all if you want a truly vintage car you can go buy one for the same price as opposed to buying a modern production model.
