Here's one of those brain tests. I should have had my coffee before I took it, as I got only a 19:

19 here. Probably would have done better if I had more time.
Also got asked which was serial killer? I don't see how I'm supposed to know that...

I figured I didn't do too bad considering the majority of the questions were more American knowledge.

Although throw a Canadian based smartness test on there. Americans would probably average around 5. |

I read one time that an alarming number of folks had trouble even stating where Canada was!

Isn't Canada down in the tropics? (I'm sure HAL wouldn't mind that
) LOL, heck, I bet some (American) people have trouble just pointing out where the United States is on a world map.

Find my thread about that stupid show Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader... one person was asked if he crossed the north US boarder, what country would he be in and he didn't know... another woman was asked what country shares the longest boarder with the US and her answer, I kid you not was "Well, I hear a lot about Mexico in the news, so it must be Mexico".... gawd... what kinda bent logic is that???...do you even know what your country looks like???

Believe it or not I don't think a lot of people do. My girlfriend was surprised I knew where every state was, I was a little disappointed that she didn't.

Here's a fun state test, but it doesn't have them all, just the contiguous ones:

Ah yes, I remember that one. I always get New Hampshire and Vermont flipped flopped.
EDIT: Darn, doesn't look like it's working...nevermind, is now. It had some problems registering Illinois. I clearly marked Illinois correctly because the X was right smack in the middle. Second try worked..lol Last edited by blue60007; 06-13-2007 at 05:26 PM. |

lol...you're using the right arrows there, right?
(just kidding!) Yeah, I had the same issue with Illinois. Good thing it doesn't count wrong answers against you because I "dropped" a couple before I meant to.EDIT: Yeah, I tried again and couldn't get CA to register right the first time. Also noticed it doesn't let you mark Michigan by putting the arrow in the UP. |

Well, I didn't know when Elvis died, I don't know what borders China, and I don't where Carlsberg is (although I guess right).

Well, I can get 30 something (maybe 34?) states without guessing. After that, the midwest and southern states are all guesses. |
