What should I do with it?
Hmm I got some old parts from school today, that they were going to throw away. I got 3 video cards....2 sound cards.....4 hd's...2 scsi cd roms....motherboard...2 intel 200mhz cpus.....a 486 dx cpu...an old motherboard, and alot of other various stuff, that I can make a systme out of. What should I use this slow thign for?? I have my other system running games, is there any use for this one? Or should I just scrap the parts? Any ideas or any other os' I could put on it?

if you have a broadband connection, install linux on it and use that as your FTP/WWW server and also as a firewall.

i wish i could...
 I dont have broadband!!!! I've been telling my dad...get broadband...ehs like pay for it your self if you want it...well I have the money, just want to spend it on hardware...games...and xbox...good idea though

i wish i could, but i dont know the specs...the guys at my school where jsut clearing off the shelfs puchign everything into trash cans..and i said "hey i can use that" then when i got it, I was like now what, Ionly know the specs of the cpus and hard drives.

im 15, no nephews.....ummmm my sister is in florida, and has a better one, that I built her. My neighbors...hmmm they are old in their 80's old, and I bet you, they dont want to fool with it.

Write down specs, sell here on For Sale forum(Anand Tech other option), after you sell ask us what to do with $$$
