I have a can in my office. I got it for my birthday several years ago because of my spam fighting efforts. I keep it around to ward off other spam. Also, in the event of an earthquake if I get trapped in the building I can eat the spam and use the spam goo to lubricate myself in case I get stuck. I am sure that I can use the key for something too.

A can of Spam can also be thrown to be used as a weapon to ward off software pirates.

Don't forget folks that the very British Monty Python brought us all SPAM in the first place

Happy Birthday, Spam -- I had Spam growing up but don't eat it much now-a-days. When I do have it, I like it fried...

Sorry about that Dave...it's a pretty popular treat over here. Tastes better than it looks.

Residents of Hawai'i eat an average of four cans of SPAM per person per year, more than in any other place on Earth
Cricket - are you contributing to that figure? Must be those "treats" you mentioned above.

It's "nori" or dried seaweed and it's edible.

No, my wife stopped buying SPAM awhile ago...too salty and high in nitrites. Can't even remember the last time I ate any.

I still can't figure out how come people (especially the orient) can eat raw fish. Haven't you all figured out how to use a stove yet.

And, ya, that saltiness is a killer. The last time I had Spam, it was the low-sodium version and it was better that way...

It's just plain steamed white rice, not the sweet sushi style rice.

My wife doesn't cook with salt anymore so even the low-sodium SPAM is too salty for us.

Ya, I've been reducing my salt intake and it's amazing the things that are "salty" now... like potato chips for one example. Still have to have salt on two things, though, and thats a steak or a hamburger.
