Howdy all,
I'm having a hard time deciding which route should I go with this problem: I need to design a few websites and then maintaining/updating/revamping them. I have been using a trial version of Dreamweaver and felt comfortable with it (certainly beats FrontPage); now, the thing is I don't know if I should buy the stand-alone product or if I should get one of the Creative Suites. http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/ According to that, the Web Premium comes with Photoshop Ext., Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Flash, Fireworks, and a bundle of other minor software (shared features and apps) I don't even know what's it used for or if I actually need it, bloatware if you ask me. The Web Standard comes with the same products sans Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator. Thing is, I have the CorelDraw graphics suite 12, which comes with CorelDraw and PhotoPaint. I know that I shall eventually need Acrobat, but I don't need it right now. So, my question is, which route should I take? Should I just buy Dreamweaver, or should I buy one of the suites, and if so, which one? ![]() Ah, of course there's the issue of money. If that weren't a problem I would just buy the most complete suite and be done with it, but it is a problem. Dreamweaver alone is 235 bucks, Std. suite is $ 480, and the Premium is $ 606. TIA

Nevermind, since I'll have to upgrade to Vista, that kinda settles the issue. I'll have to go with the stand-alone program.
Thanks for viewing. |
