Painkiller Jane
Aside from the fact that Kristanna Loken is hot, what do you guys think about Painkiller Jane?
I think that it's got potential but not quite sure how long they can keep it going for especially since the plot has been somewhat predictable lately.

What are you talking about? A movie? Never heard of it. Is it based on a comic book or something?
I've only seen Kristanna Loken in "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines"...she's okay I guess. My favorite action movie female actor is Milla Jovovich. Cricket

I watch it...it's basically the only show not putting out reruns right now.
It's...ok. Not great, not absolutely horrible, but ok. I'm mildly entertained for the duration of the show, which is fine for a friday evening to relax.

Well, the main plot is that there are people with neurological mutations that give them special powers. The main govt-funded team goes out to neutralize the "neuros" with a gun thingie that fires some kind of dampening chip into their heads.
Kristanna Loken became a member of the team in the first episode. For reasons that have not yet been identified, she is able to heal herself in a Wolverine-like fashion. She gets shot several times and then stands right up. Electrocution, and other much more bizarre typically fatal injuries are shrugged off as she gets thrown into random and bizarre scenarios. SciFi channel Friday nights. It airs back to back with Dr. Who. These two shows, Stargate Atlantis, and Battlestar Galactica take turns airing. Dr. Who is in non-rerun mode also, but were aired months ago in the UK. I got tired of torrenting them so like a good little boy I PVR them instead. |

I was curious about this show when I saw ads for it... but the title kinda threw me off. I just can't seem to take it seriously with a name like that.
