Sheeple vs. Little Deviants Scion adverts

http://www.littledeviant.com/

Have you guys seen the "little deviants" commercials? That and the web adverts/interactive game thingie look pretty cool to me. But that can't be good for children to watch. I mean, this is better described as a dark R-rated storyline than a car commercial. The website isn't too much better. In "chapter 2", you use a little deviant arm to swipe at the sheeple to kill them and collect their blood...

If some of you didn't see the commercials yet, I might try to hunt it down on youtube.

Is it really worse than the other commercials out there... I would rather my daughter see an animation swiping and taking blood than that stupid dork for the Enzyte commercial.

You've got a point there. I'm not quite sure which would scare me more if I were a child; a guy with plastic-like smile, or little monsters mutilating sheeple.

The bad thing is I saw this as a commercial before the trailers while sitting in the theater for Harry Potter. They actually show commercials in my movie theater now before trailers, which is kind of sad.

I thought the commercial as a whole was pretty sick and not appropriate for children.

a little disconcerting but based upon who Scion's target market is (early 20's) it makes a lot of sense.

That's where I first saw it also - in the theater. They put it before both Die Hard and Transformers. That's what made me do a big "HUH?"; when I saw it before Transformers where there were quite a few children in the audience.

Same here. It was rather disturbing.

As I mentioned earlier, I would rather my child see that animation... I really don't find it a big deal, there are cartoons that are worse that kids watch.... but to have to explain male enhancement to a kid the what's why's and how's and why "Bob" is so happy and his wife even happier... gimme a break... kids grow up too fast without that crap.
