I'm beginning to think that is urban legend... seems to me I have seen the same thing with a different video card.

Also note, read the thread on the original discussion article and remind yourself why we police PCM the way we do.

Seen it before. The guy is obviously too retarded to be playing the kinds of games that this card runs anyways.

hahah, you wouldn't happen to have a higher resolution version of that, would you? I'm really tempted to print it in an 8x10 and frame it...

There's actually a few people I know who would think about trying this sort of thing. Thankfully they've since learned to get ahold of me when 1 + 1 somehow equals 5.

I would have liked to have heard the phone call to the manufacturer asking if what he did voided the card's warranty or not.

Or, using binary arithmetic, 1 + 1 = 0 (you carry a 1 though, making it technically 10 I suppose, gotta love the OR operator )

1 OR 1 equals 1, right?

Because when you're rich (or your parents are rich enough), you don't think of the consequences.

It hurts, it physically hurts.

I saw a fellow member on another site try to pass this off as his own problem.

He thought he was being oh so funny wasting everyone's time....Resetting his post count to zero was even funnier

Yes, absolutely. I don't know what I was smoking...can't even keep my logic gates straight anymore With an exOR gate 1+1 = 0. It's the equivalent of doing a mod2 on the sum.

Don't know why you'd want that though...you'd end up with 11337. Maybe for emphasis...
