Red Bull Air Race
Just spectacular.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/6921352.stm There has been a World War 2 Supermarine Spitfire flying around where I live for the last few weekends.

That does indeed look awesome. I really wanted to head down to Longleat for the event last year but work got in the way. For my aviation fix I went to a show at RAF Elvington instead....the highlight being a demo of the 'new' Eurofighter! That thing is LOUD.

I've been to air shows, but never to an air race. It must be pretty awesome!

I saw a couple of those pylon races on TV a while ago, think it was on BBC America. Man, the people that fly those races are either fantastic pilots or totally nuts. Even on TV the race was exciting.
