Hopefully time to move up...
Just got the good word this morning that I have the interview for a different position at work which would take me off the phones. I applied for Quality Assurance Specialist. Essentially I would be the performance monitoring link between the contact employees and operations management. Yes, it would be a huge cut in commissions, but it's just about an equally large increase in pay plus bonues. Interview is on the 9th, so plenty of time to prepare for a behavioral based interview.

Best of luck! Sounds like a better position. I know I wouldn't want to be on the phone all day.

My daddy has that possition and he LOVES it. Great position, he gets to be around people and do technical work that he loves. He works for Bic, the pen company, and he has a blast with that position. Good Luck and I hope you enjoy it as much as he does!

Well you have been successful at most everything else that you have done. I am sure that they will see that from your track record.
Too bad you are so ugly. (I had to throw that in lest you get the big head)

Well the interview was today and I think I did really well. There was even a role play scenario at the end and I was outright told that I totally nailed it. I should know sometime next week if I was the successful candidate.

Actually, yes, that is listed under my leisure activities LOL... not that I need it, my resume has actually grown to something quite impressive over the past few years.

Oh definitely... and they do welcome you calling afterwards to find out why you weren't chosen and what can be changed to make things a success the next time.

Well no go this time. They told me it wasn't anything to do with my interview, it was as perfect as could be... somebody else was just a "little more perfect" LOL.
