A Disk read error occured? What To DO?

K i got Toshiba Satellite A45-S150 Laptop, when i turn it on i get black screen and a massage sayingg "A disk read error occured Press Ctrl Alt and Delete to restart"
Restarting doesnt help, and when i put XP cd in cdrom i still get this error. So what can i do, please help?
