Unplug...

THIS IS A FUNNY STORY.........i got my kids a dell computer cuz they were blowing mine up...so today i was at work and i get a call from my teen daughter panicking cuz i let her go on my computer ....she says.."mom...ur computer went black..i dont know wat happened" i was pisttttttttttttt offffffffffff..i was like see wat happens when u guys play on my computer! so i had her check things and she couldnt figure it out so i figured she blew something up and ill take care of it when i get home...so i make a snack and sit down..and look..the computers plug was half unplugged................i plugged it in...my computer works now...think im ready to be a mod now??? kidding....im grateful my computer works tho...lol........

Heheh....good story. Surprisingly enough though, that's one of the most common things you see in troubleshooting guides, no matter if it's for a computer, tv, radio, whatever. Seems like the troubleshooting guide always has one of the first things being "Is the device plugged in?" I usually look at that and think "Now that's rather obvious!", but then I realize.....if it wasn't a common reason, it wouldn't be in the book.
