as the quality of the reproduction shows, these folks are not guys working out their house selling a copy of 2....these are pro's with a lot of money behind them....I wonder where that financial and technical backing comes from.

I thought it was a spoof....if you look carefully in the third from last photo it is not there. If it were not photoshopped, there would at least be a white speck there.

It's funny, but I'm going to call spoof as well. The first pic where you can see the rectangular image, the borders of the Windows CD pattern are really fuzzy (zoomed in after the photo was taken??) but the little photo has crisp, straight edges.

I'm pretty positive its suppose to be a joke, hence the funny picture and final comment.

Yeah. The guy in the picture is, well, a 'non conventional software dealer.' Very funny all the same.

Just looking at that guys pic and thinking about it....I would be scared as hell buying any pirated software like that. Who knows what kind of malware it may contain. Having to wipe the hard drive and start from scratch is not one of the funner things to do.

They sold this stuff in the Bazaar in Afghanistan. I was doing tech support as an extra duty there and guys would come in with a BSOD and the first question I would as would be the OS and where they got it from. Often times then answers were along the lines of "Win XP Ultimate Edition down at the Bazaar" I would just laugh and tell them the get the recover disc for thier computer and I would fix it. If it was a personal computer I charged 35 an hour to fix it. Some of that crap really screws up a computer.

Those methods of selling pirated disc is well rampant in Asia. Make-shifts stalls are everywhere here and people are looking forward to it too.
