Kind of stupid

I got this phishing attempt today. Pretty easy to tell that it was a fake as most are. This one had a rather unique signature.

Not too mention several grammar and capitalization errors that can also be found in this email if read carefully.

i didn't even actually read it..just sort of noticed the bottom part first.

wow. they didn't put any effort into that one.

Forgetting to capitalize the first word in a sentence alone is a dead giveaway. It's a good thing most of them have really bad grammar...but I guess then, if they had received a decent education they would not need to steal from others.

I got that e-mail and they promptly took care of my flatulence.. good thing, cuz the whole ordeal was a crappy situaiton.

LOL! Nice!

I've noticed that too....that alot of phishing attempts have really bad grammar mistakes in them. Probably for the reason David M stated though.

I wonder how many actually do/did fall for this? There have been countless tales of fraud lately of all sorts, yet people still seem to get reeled in...

From the few articles I've read on spammers and the like, they are happy with a low percentage of responses, even 1 - 2%, due to the massive volume that is put out.
