Dumb as a sack of hammers.

A Celebutard in the making? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj3iNxZ8Dww
P.S. Sorry I don't remember which mecher coined the phrase "Celebutard" but credits to whoever did.

She didn't win did she?

Edit: I just watched it again, did you noticed the look on Slaters face at the end?

It would have taken one hell of a swimsuit competition.

A rehearsed line that fell apart due to nervousness, and to top it off didn't even answer the question...bravo.

Miss Teen South Carolina Gets A Second Chance On 'Today'

Miss Teen South Carolina was on the Today show this morning in a taped segment where she was given another chance to answer her flubbed question on why "U.S. Americans" are not able to locate our nation on a map. We think she did okay this time around (she made no mention of South Africa or "The Iraq"!), but she had a whole friggin' weekend to practice. Anyway, as always, Matt Lauer is an idiot, and he gave her a pound after she completed her answer. We'd like for him to pound us, too, if you know what we're sayin'.

I was watching the guy holding the microphone, you could see he was having a hard time holding back from laughing out loud. I know this isn't going to be Politically Correct, but does anyone watching Miss Teen USA expect anyone to be really smart? It seems when the contestants are ask these questions they always find a way to bring in the topic of World Peace in to the answer.

since you bought up the topic of who watches this and expects a smart answer, let me ask this to everyone:

what is the point to things like this, seriously?

it's pointless. things like this should be done away with and lets put more focus and prestige on getting a good education.

but that's just my opinion, i may be wrong.

To be fair, there were some questions on Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? that had me stumped. I was amazed at how much useless knowledge some people remember after 20+ years.
