Favorite Season

Since the summer season is winding down I got to thinking about what really my favorite season is and I want to ask everybody else. I seem to find good things about every season and I've decided if I ever get asked that question I'll respond: The next.
I always find myself looking forward to the next season and what things I can do during that time of the year.

Things I like about:

Spring - Temps getting warmer and things start turning Green and look forward to being outside.
Summer - Being outside, grilling and the amount of daylight.
Fall - Cooler temps, grass is usually at it's Greenest.
Winter - Snow, that's about it. If it's not snowing when it's cold it's no fun.

So everybody whats your favorite season(for those who have them)?

I can't really do this poll since our weather here in Hawaii is the same all year long...we really don't have "seasons".

winter.

just cause i really haven't had a winter in a few years. and i like the snow, except driving in it.

plus in winter i get to wear my hoodies. and it's the perfect excuse to get a little closer to that special someone...

Autumn colors are nice ....

Summers, I appreciate the extended daylight, the nights when it's cool enough to open the window at night and fall asleep to the sound of crickets and katydids ....

Spring, my favorite, because it means we made it through another blasted winter, blooming flowers and budding trees give a greater variety of color than fall, warming temps mean no more frostbite out there on the front porch smoking a Churchill ....

Winter sucks. Snow is pretty, but not enough to make up for the pain in the butt of getting to work in it without having some idiot barreling along in an out-of-control SUV nail you ... the cold sucks ... driving home at night sucks ... short days suck ... bulky clothes bulky coats bulky gloves suck ... stepping out of the shower and getting out from under the warm covers suck ... dang I hate winter lol

Fall

Spring is too messy with slush from the melt
Winter... well, it's winter, I hate snow, I hate the cold
Summer, too dang hot.

Fall is just right. Don't need the AC or the furnace running.. nights are cool and perfect for sitting by the firepit. Windows can be opened to let fresh air in without getting too cold. The lawn doesn't grow so fast, so only cut it about once every two weeks... only need to clean up the leaves and the leaf blower makes short work of that job. Doesn't rain much so the car stays clean without needing a wash for a long time.

Football season should be an option

I picked Fall, closest thing.

Winter's my favorite season!
Although, I do enjoy all the seasons quite a bit... think my least fave one is the summer .. the heat just gets to me.

I couldn't live in a place that didnt have 4 seasons .. Hawaii being the only exclusion .. it's always set on gorgeous out there!

Spring is my favorite season. Lengthening days (which is why most peoples' mood is better in the spring -- light is a mood regulator), and it's warmer than winter, but not so warm you're sweating yet. I like the snow in winter, but definitely not when it gets really cold (I always wonder what the point of cold is if there's no snow). Summer is too hot; fall is okay at the beginning, but when the days get shorter I get down in the dumps.

Warmer weather in general (but not necessarily scorching hot)

Just enough to be comfortable, not needing A/C or heat.

Autumn is my preference for pretty much exactly the same reasons as Hal mentions...

...apart from the 'snow' bit - we just don't get proper snowfall here anymore.

I like the fall myself..I remember every yr the wife and I would go driving up in New England to see the changing of the foliage.. Winter just for Xmass.. since living down here there isn't much of a fall worth talking about and hardly a winter...

Fall. Love thinking back on the feeling of crisp afternoons spent on the soccer pitch.

Fall. Great weather and I like all the pretty leaves. Also, my birthday is in the fall, so that's always a plus.

Spring.....for it's getting warmer and getting away from Winter. I hate Winter and when I retire I'm moving to a warm climate.

Fall is my fave.

It's getting cooler and I love the delicious feel of a cool breeze. I can take walks around the neighborhood and football is in the air.

It would really be my fave if we had some decent trees out here in the desert to provide those gorgeous colors....

Another Autumn lover here. Great time for road trips with the wife, garden planting for next year and being able to remodel things in the house with the windows open. Friday nites spent at the local high school football games in a light jacket or sweatshirt and the fall colors are just bonuses of the season.
