Well, our qb, who was rated the BEST prospect coming out of high school, showed his stuff. The one who broke all UT passing records sits on the bench. Result:
OU 14 UT 3

Yeah, a pretty good game. I thought TN had it sowed up at the end there. At least they should have. I think that their defense didn't show up on the last drive.
Sarge, that's what you get for stealing Chris Simms from us anyway.

mairving, agreed. He would have fit in better at TN, one of the Floridas, or Stanford. Major Applewhite ain't got the arm, but he doesn't make mental mistakes. And, he broke every record and politics stuck him on the bench.
http://bbs.austin360.com/cgi-bin/int...Board=100texas BTW, Tiretool, enjoy the next few weeks. On October 27, you have a date with Florida. Please sic the 'dawgs on 'em. Last edited by SARGE; 10-07-2001 at 04:35 PM. |

Sarge, you know my favorite team is Tennessee and whoever is playing Florida. I just can't take take Spurrier smirk. TN already dodged the FL bullet since they were supposed to play them on Sept 14, which was rescheduled because of NYC.

And for the second week in a row, the Dawgs put a smile on my face. And so did the Gators!
Down with all ORANGE teams! Go DAWGS! BTW Sarge, I won't jinx myself by talking a bunch of smack against the Gators, but now they don't seem so invincible... getting beat by AUBURN. We'll see what we can do. Last edited by Tiretool; 10-13-2001 at 10:46 PM. |

UCLA 35 - Washington 13.
I like teams from the East and SWC too. But let's face the facts guys; 3 of the top 10 teams going into this weekend were from the Pac 10. The Pac 10 faces a lot of East Coast bias, but it's a tough division too with UCLA, Wahsington, Washington State, and Oregon.

Big 12 has 3 in top ten, 2 in top 3. But, the DAWGS are gaining.
