Who would've thought?
Sapphire is apparently bringing it's Radeon HD 2400 and 2600 series GPU's in AGP models. Now I honestly AGP saw its end with the X1950PRO. Sapphire, it seems, want's to keep AGP alive somewhat, although I doubt that any system old enough to be AGP need a DX10 GPU.

Thanks for the good news!! I'll be looking into one for myself, and have a good hand full of clients that would love it.
People have budgets and familys and can't buy all the toys they want. Or a whole new system just for a decent vid vid cards. Modern cards for AGP is a good thing for folks that need one, and for the business that sell them, too. There are a whole lot more AGP machines out there than PCI-E... My guess is 98 to 1. |
