trying to update mobo drivers

I recently built an AMD T-bird 1.4 GHz on a Soyo dragon mobo.
I went to there website and noticed updates for the 4-1 drivers as
well as the onboard sound, so I downloaded it. Now I have 2 sets of
zipped files and no instructions on where to unzip them to install
the updates on my comp. Also do I have to unistall the old drivers,
if so how? I am very new to building computers (this is my first) so treat
me as a total noob.

Thanks in advance,

Bigpuma

Both .zip files should hold .exe files. just extract those files, and run the executables. I know for a fact you don't have to uninstall 4-in-1 drivers, and I'm 99.9% sure you don't have to uninstall the drivers for the on-board sound.

When you run the executables, the drivers will be placed in the correct place, just let the program do what it need to. Then just re-boot after all is said and done.
