Viruses

Is anyone a bit suspicious about the virus protection companies?
Because I think it is just a little strange that companies can have fixes produced so quickly after a new virus appears.
Just my personal opinion.

Ahhh... conspriacy theory... where's SARGE You gotta wonder if they write a virus to make claim how their scanner detects and repairs. A great way to stay in business

Do you think M$ is just a front for a bug-fix company .. and they write an OS so that people clamor for a patch?

Ah-HA.... that's it, and they are actually forcing people to start using free programs such as Linux so they have the average joe help develop bug free, efficient software, without being paid. Then they are going to buy out the rights to Linux, change all the rules, monopolize open source and charge big dollars for everyone else's efforts

That is interesting. Here is another theory that it is a conspiracy with MS and a bunch of the spammers.

I also found this quote, my new favorite.
Quote:

All programs evolve until they can send email.
Except Microsoft Exchange.

What a great site!

In a shocking move, Microsoft has revealed that the new Xbox console will only contain an 8 gigabyte hard drive. This implies that the machines will use a version of the Windows operating system that fits within only 8GB. Squeezing Windows into such a small footprint must certainly be one of the greatest technological achievements ever crafted by Microsoft's Research & Assimilation Department.
Almost choked on my coffee.

It is a funny site. I found this quote that I really liked too:

Proactive Synergy Paradigm, the Linux distro targeted at Pointy Haired Bosses, will now include built-in security flaws to better compete with Microsoft programs.
