Your first impulse: Use the REPORT POST link

Of late, a number of you have been receiving PMs regarding your responses to threads/posts that are posted with the intent of spamming the place.

Just wanted to request that you please do not respond to these threads but use the REPORT POST link instead.

For one, it sends out an email that prompts immediate action. Secondly, it makes moderating the boards slightly easier, when we can quickly identify new threads from new users and check on them. Seeing a more established member's name as the last responder just throws us off longer.
