Geeks with a remote

This was in the latest news letter, but I just felt the need to share with those that didn't catch it.

It's so wrong, but so funny.

Sure, funny once, but now every dork on the internet has seen this and will attempt the same thing all over the place.

Send a message via AIM to Panama Red
I fail to see the humor in disrupting someone else's livelihood. That's right up there with spamming and hacking someone else's pc. I hope the show labels these guys as persona-non-grata next year and they aren't allowed in the door. They can do their reporting from outside on the sidewalk.

For anyone wanting to understand the technology behind this prank, see the llink below.
http://www.tvbgone.com/cfe_tvbg_main.php

I would think that the person who performed this prank could be sued
for damages quite easily. I image it costs thousands of dollars to rent a
CES booth which can be translated to to a dollar figure per minute which
could be used as a basis for a minimal monetary damages, not to mention
lost potential for new business.

Very foolish to play this prank and extremely foolish to
make a video of it admitting they did it.
