C:\Program Files\ICQ

Copy the db folder over to the other computer, then run the database converter.

Just paste your old Db file into the ICQ directory on your new computer after you install ICQ on that PC but before you startup ICQ for the first time. When ICQ starts up for the first time database converter should start automatically and convert your old Db file for use with ICQ 2000b.

Actually ICQ will start at the end of the install and bring you up to a signup screen. Just close the program, copy the db folder over, and reboot the computer. Then you can go on line and start ICQ, and the signup screen will come up - tell it you are an existing member, put in your UIN and password, and register it - then the database converter should run.

Yes, as glc has said, you must close the singnup screen and copy the Db99 file into your ICQ folder first. If you've already started ICQ and registered your existing username then you should:
1- Close ICQ
2- Delete the 2000b folder from the ICQ directory
3- Copy the Db99 folder into the ICQ directory
4- Run ICQ
..The Db converter should then start automatically
HOWEVER be careful ... if you've registered a new username for ICQ on the new computer deleting the 2000b folder will delete the data for this new profile on you computer.
