What is with the popups?

Man, I am getting buried in popups every time that I click on a forum link. As soon as it closes another one popups. I can stand a popup but not the continuous barrage.

Verisign screwed up and this is a temporary (I hope) fix. Yesterday, this is what my screen would look like on several, but not all computers.

Yeah, I really couldn't get the site to load correctly all day yesterday. Oh, and I see the dating service ad is back.

I just leave the popup open in the background until I'm done here, then it doesn't keep coming back.

I had just put a new harddrive in a laptop and I thought I had a screwed up IE
install. I could use fewer popups also. If you minimize the first one and leave it there they don't keep coming.

darn the pop-ups

Yeah, I was on pcmech in school and these blondes kept popping up on the pop-up windows. Didn't really need teachers to see that. When should this be cleared up? Until then though, thanks for the minimize tip, guess I should have figured that out myself.

Hey guys,

I already told my ad reps to remove that IFriends ad...I think yesterday. If you get any more, let me know at drisley@pcmech.com . I told them NOT to run that ad because it looks questionable.

Cool

Gee, I didn't know there were any pop-ups! I use this program and it works 95% of the time.

The best $8 or $10 I've ever spent was for POP UP KILLER! It works ALL THE TIME!

Or, you can try Control + W !
