iPhone Text Messaging Question.
I send quite a few test messages. And normally i don't have any problems. I can pick up a conversation with somebody days later and the messages will go right through no problem. But there's this one friend of mine. I always have to start a new conversation with her. If i try to pick up an old conversation with her I always get error messages saying you must type in a valid 10 digit phone number, etc etc. I don't understand why this is happening! Anybody out there experienced this same problem?

Is this person actually texting from their phone or from a website. I text my wife from a website because I suck at using the little phone keypad... if she replies, it just goes right back to her, she has to start a new message.

Not just websites do this - she could be texting you from AIM or another IM program that's capable of sending SMS to a phone number.

That too... essentially anything that isn't just the phone text system.

I'll have to ask her but i'm almost positive she's using her cell phone. When i start a conversation with her, we can text back and forth and my messages go through to her but if there's any break in the conversation then my messages won't go through. I then have to start a new conversation. WIERD!!!

Always uses her cell, but is she doing it from a web page or messenger program within the cell?

She's not doing it from a web page and she's not using a messenger program from within the cell. She just got a new LG cell phone last week, not sure of the model number. But the same thing's still happening. So what now?
