Screw Windrivers.com
Gotta pay a membership fee to access the site now, screw that. Anyone know of any other good sites to chase down drivers with.

Membership fee? Do you think we'll be seeing more of this kind of thing in the near future?

I sure hope not. Many people I know turn to the net for some free help instead of phoning customer support lines of which many charge a per incident fee, and quite often, they are not of any help anyway.

Two of the biggest tech sites with the largest forums, AnandTech and Ars Technica, have already turned their forums in a subscription based service where you pay a montly or annual fee for extra services or access to information. With the recent downturn in the economy and the total failure of banner ads, a lot of sites are looking for other ways to make money. Let's hope PC Mech doesn't have to resort to this.

Anands forum is pay to post now?
lmao, that's too funny. The sad thing is, the people on that forum are such blind-following sheep that most of them will likely pay it .
