Question about Private Messages

I have only been using this site for a couple weeks. The quality of this site and the advice disseminated here is great !

I notice that when I enter the PC MECH forums I get a report about any messages that may have been left for me. I have zero unread and 1 total messages. When I try to look at that 1 message (which supposedly exists) I get , "There are no messages for the time period" ? I have changed my setting back to the beginning but still my 1 total messages turns up zip.

Anyone got an idea on this one ?

p.s. Is there anyway to slow down the annoyingly fast blink rate of the cursor
in the posting edit window here (drives my eyes nuts !) ?

Yep, the admin panel shows you have one PM. Try looking in all your folders - if you still can't find it I can delete it (but not read it) if you want.

Can't help you on the cursor blinking, except to say maybe try a different browser.

Also check your message tracking folder .. if u've sent a PM it automatically is put on tracking as well .. the report of which is a new message itself.

You can slow down the cursor blink rate in the control panel. Go to control panel/keyboard and speed is one of the two tabs. Blink rate is at the bottom of the speed tab.
