He was great, I have heard him every day for about 25 years. I think he knows the rest of the story now.

Yeah, I read that the other day in our local newspaper. It's gonna feel weird to alot of people around here, not hearing his "Stand by for NEWS!" and "Good day." statements during their lunch hour breaks.

I though I heard something -in passing- the other day on this. While I'm not one to listen to the news, even I can feel something missing from radio when a legend such as Paul Harvey passes. His voice has got to be one of the most recognizable in history. He'll be missed by many people.
